After being on virtual keyboards of HTC Evo 4G, Droid X, and a slew of other smartphones, I didn’t really have a need for a physical QWERTY keyboard until I loaded up my Sega emulators games on the Droid 2.
Before, I’d use a virtual touchscreen controller for these games (or use a separate controller like a Wiimote) but now I can actually play my favorite games using the keyboard!
What a relief that was and that’s why Droid 2′s QWERTY keyboard is still the highlight of the phone.
Anyways, here’s how to install Sega emulator and ROMs on your Droid 2 for those of you new to the Android world. (And yes, it don’t cost you a dime!)

First, go to market and download free apps called “Androzip” and “Gensoid Lite”.
AndroidZip lets you “unzip” zipped ROM files and Gensoid Lite is a free Sega emulator app for the Droid 2.

Once that’s done, go google for your favorite game, such as “sonic sega rom” for Sonic the HedgeHog ROM.
Download the ROM then unzip it. Then run Gensoid and point it to where you’ve unzipped the ROM file, most likely in the “AndroZip” folder.
Here, I made a video tutorial for you to watch if you don’t get what I said here:
